The admirable Muhu embroidery is known throughout Estonia. There are three generations of sticks behind it and a hundred years of development. The series "Meite Muhu Masters Patterns" is a tribute to Muhu's pattern creators and also provides a clear picture of the diversity of Muhu embroidery.
This booklet features the embroidery patterns of the first Muhu professional embroideries - the sisters Kopli Riina and Mare, from the first quarter of the last century. The charmingly lush and fantasy-rich patterns of the early days of Muhu embroidery have become increasingly fascinating for today's embroideries. In addition to the patterns, some colored pages of old objects are also included in this booklet in order to better introduce the color selection and embroidery points at that time.
The collection was drawn and drawn by Anu Kabur using old objects.
Children, and why not adults, can also paint the book for fun.
