DROPS Soft Tweed is, as the name suggests, a very soft tweed yarn made from a combination of merino wool, ultra-fine alpaca and viscose. The yarn is formed by carding these fibers together with small felted "tweed buttons" that add pops of color to give this yarn a matching look. DROPS Soft Tweed is a carded yarn, which means it is lighter and airier than similar worsted yarns - and it is particularly suitable for hand knitting.

Strong yet elegant, this yarn is a pleasure to knit. and the result is beautiful even loops. A great choice for textured patterns, vests, jumpers and cardigans - DROPS Soft Tweed can be used in yarn group B patterns designed for DROPS Karisma, DROPS Lima and DROPS Merino Extra Fine.
